End of the month sprint

Ok, so I felt pretty pathetic this month since I hardly finished anything.  I got out two minis for others and had started about 10 new minis for myself but never finished them.  I realized that I couldn’t end the month with just 2 finished, so I sat down and finished up the gasmask troopers, and the crossbow armed dwarf.  They were all extremely quick paintjobs just to get them off the table so they stop staring at me.

I’m struggling with the quantity vs quality debate.   Oh well.  I also started and finished a set of two sci-fi not-terminator robots from Em-4 Miniatures.  These were totally done in 10 minutes each to boost the figure count, so they were a quick drybrush with the eyes and some detail picked out in red.  They look nicer in person, but still pretty rough.  On the table they will look fine, which is the important thing.

I couldn’t get the colors to come out right on the second picture.  They look much closer to the first one.

What is this all about?

Welcome to Mini Painting for Free. Do you have way too many miniatures like I do? Send me one or two! I'll paint them up, photograph them, post about them and then send them back. The best part? All you have to pay is shipping to get the miniatures to me in New Hampshire, USA. I'll supply the time, paint and the return postage. Have something you want me to work on? Send me an email at bobbo.is.me@gmail.com and let me know.
